Before & After: Bullying PSA
Before:
Cyberbu//ying
Stupid, ugly, horrible, loser, good for nothing… the list could go on for horrible words the bullies use to pick on someone. They could say a lot of mean or hurtful words, especially at school or even on the internet. Yes, on the computer! And that’s a huge problem called cyber-bullying!
"Cyber-bullying" is when a child, preteen or teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another child, preteen or teen using the Internet, interactive and digital technologies or mobile phones. It has to have a minor on both sides, or at least have been instigated by a minor against another minor. Once adults become involved, it is plain and simple cyber-harassment or cyber-stalking. Adult cyber-harassment or cyber-stalking is NEVER called cyber-bullying. If You don’t believe me, and think that I’m just making this up, then go to, http://www.stopcyberbullying.org/what_is_cyberbullying_exactly.html for the exact definition.
Cyber-Bullying happens to everyone in the world. Even I have been cyber-bullied before. About 42% of kids, teens, and sometimes adults have been bullied online. And about 21% of them have received mean or even threatening email messages. And about half of them commit suicide due to all the pressure.
If Cyber-bullying ever comes across you then you should do something about it. If someone sends you a horrible message then the right thing to do, number one on the list is tell an adult. Tell someone you trust like a parent or guardian, a teacher, the school counselor, or even a professional. They can help you a lot. Another thing you should do is report them. How? Well when you go to a website like facebook, twitter, or youtube; there is usually a report button on the top, middle, or even the bottom of the page. Sometimes you have to look in the profile. Easy ways to stop them!
When you get bullied online, there are some things you shouldn’t do. You should never write back! If you do then they will keep on going and they wont stop. Okay, so if you don’t write back that doesn’t mean just sit there and do nothing. If you don’t do anything while it’s happening than they will continue. And the most common thing of all is suicide. If you kill yourself then we know why you did it and it does give a huge warning to never do that. But you don’t have to kill yourself. All you have to do is do what I said before and nobody gets hurt!
Cyber-bullying is a huge problem around the world’ Especially with teenagers. Don’t let that happen to you! Talk to your child or friend about cyber-bullying; or even bullying in general. No one deserves to feel the pain. And for all the bullies out there, be careful what you say, write, or type. Because you can really hurt that person and make them do bad things.

After:
Bullying Online & In General
Hey stupid, Good for nothing loser, ugly cow, retard, moron, horrible little... The list goes on. Bullying has been going on for years. From saying words, to depression, to fist fights, and even death. There are a million ways how kids at a very young age or teenagers get hurt. We should do something about it now before it gets out of hand.
Bullying is a blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people. [dictionary.com] In other words, it's a person who thinks he/she can do what ever they want. They call you names, they beat you up, they gossip about you, pull pranks on you, bully you online, and just find ways to make your life a living hell.
There is another type of bullying that is more, "modern". It's call Cyber-bullying. A lot of people have been bullied or even been a victim of bullying. About 42% of children and teens have been bullied online. 35% have been threatened online. Many of those committed suicide. It's sad to know all of this is happening, and we don't do much about it.
The thing that I don't understand is that they know that they are getting bothered, but they do all the wrong things or just don't do anything at all. If that's going on, you don't solve it by committing suicide. You have to live, you were here for a reason. There some helpful ways you can stop the issue without hurting yourself or not telling anyone.
Number One: The action that everyone should to, tell and adult. Your parents give you helpful advice. You an also ask your school counselor. He/She give helpful advice and they can even do something about it. Your teachers are also there. And if it's really that bad then you can ask a professional.
Number Two: If your having Cyber-Bullying issues then you can block them. Usually there will be a block user button and even a unfriend button next to it. If you click that button than you will never hear from them again.
Number Three: Another thing you can do is ignore them. They want you to respond and try to defend yourself, like that they can have something to do. If you don't say anything at all, then they'll get bored and give up.
I know people who have been bullied and hated it. Even an amazing athlete named Tori Allen has been bullied in High School. She never told anyone, not even her parents. Bullies called her names and she used to eat lunch in the bathroom by herself. But the others never really got to know her. If they did then there friend will be a rock climbing champ from the X games. She may have been called a loser in high school. But her fans call her a winner.
Bullying is a major problem around the world. Especially in American Schools. We should accept other people no matter how different they are. Just because your bigger than them, doesn't give you a right to get whatever you want. And if your smaller than your enemy, you have to be the bigger person. Do what's right instead of making it worse. Stop bullying and speak up.

iPads Can Create a New Way of Learning: Script
Intro script:
Are you tired of textbooks?
We believe that the iPad can help you in many different and useful ways. Even for your education..
We believe that the iPad can help you in many different and useful ways. Even for your education..
Textbooks have been in our school for years. But we have to keep on buying new ones due to the information. Not to mention the kids carrying it home for there homework for many different classes.
Now introducing the iPad, textbooks can be more interactive. With the power of the Internet, you don't have to keep buying new textbooks or worry about teaching your students the wrong information. If your textbooks get outdated then you don't have to stick with the same textbooks you can just simply have the latest information and if you have a specific way of teaching you can also have the feature to design your own textbook. iPad is so much more creative and much more fun way to learn. And money is another reason to get an iPad you don't need to but very year to keep updated.
Functions:
The main functions of the iPad vs the textbooks are that the iPad has much more portability and dosent hurt your back like the original textbooks. Another reason to use the iPad is you have capability to use Internet and watch videos instead of just reading like in an old textbook. And one of the main reasons to get the iPad over the textbook Is that the iPad is much more interactive and fun and easy to use all you need is your fingers. You will never want to go back to the old fashion way of learning.
: why would students, parents and administrators change this?
Students would want to interact wi their learning, parents would want kids to not carry such heavy textbooks and also would want them to enjoy their learning. Administrators would want kids to improve their learning with an iPad that is more interactive and better than a teacher.

3 ways iPad can replace a textbook
iPad is a portable lightweight, and sleek design. It will not put so much pressure on the kids back and and not carry so much books.
iPad is more interactive than a normal textbook it can zoom in and show videos and textbooks are just there printed that's all you get.
And finally iPad is a lot better in terms of it can always be updated and the textbooks are just there

How my School will Work
A lot of students drop out of school each second. That's right! Students are dropping out of school right this moment around the world. They complain that it's boring and that they don't need all that information because what they want to be doesn't need all of that useless information. Well, our school is not like the others.
This is what is different about our school. We use technology to help us, while other schools run on paper and pencil. It organizes everything, with the internet, are books will always be updated, and instead of bringing all those tons of books, you only need one computer or tablet device. (Such as iPads, iPods, laptops, Tabs, etc.) It may use electricity, but it sure beats cutting down trees to make outdated textbooks.
I also want to make my school "less boring" by teaching you the things that you are interested, and compare it the stuff you need to know. Pretty much what another school is doing.
Students also complain that they hate waking up in the morning. Well there is also courses in the morning, afternoon, and at night. But they have to be on time and if they don't show up then they need an excuse like most schools.
I also think that students improve when they are in small classes. Not only is it easier for the teachers to manage but it's also easier for the teacher to help you, make sure your questions are answered and that you won't get distracted when all of your classmates are yelling across the room when your trying to study.
Many school should make a change. Start making new choices and changes to make the school better. If I had a chance to make a school or invent it, it would be different from what it is today. Many students will benefit from this change. Besides, change is good!

APA citation
- If you are making a quote" According to Smith (2002)" And you write waht the author says in his words" and the you write the page.
- If there is no author, use the title (or a short form of the title, if it is lengthy) and the year. Titles that are italicized in the reference list are italicized in text; titles that are not italicized in the reference list appear in quotation marks.
- If there is no date, use “n.d.” (without quotation marks) instead. http://www.apastyle.org/learn/quick-guide-on-references.aspx#In-Text
I dont remeber more notes so I decided to look for the information on internet
